The CCBA certificate is one of the most central business analysis certificates in the world, which is issued by IIBA, and its questions are extracted based on BABOK standard capabilities.
IIBA says: ” If you are a business analysis practitioner with 2 to 3 years’ experience, earning your Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®), recognizes your ability to take on larger and or more complex project responsibility.”
The exam has 130 four-choice questions and the duration of answering the questions is 3 hours.
All exam questions are scenario-based and extracted based on the capabilities listed in BABOK. These capabilities can be tasks, techniques, tools, guidelines and input and output of a task, or even competencies related to a business analyst.
To succeed in this exam, one must study BABOK carefully to master these capabilities.
